About Us
The company was formed in 1996, unofficially between Stuart and David Thiel and one of their high school buddies, Eric Hortop. It was officially registered in Quebec in 1997 (if I recall correctly).
In the next few years, the company would expand from designing web sites, to simple hosting. Then computer consulting work was thrown into the mix along with a milder version aimed at teaching people how to use their computers.
Some time in 1999, David Thiel left the company to follow other pursuits. Several years passed, and new expertises came about: video editing (Yes, we can make movies), and application programming.
Then in late 2002, it was decided that our client base was large enough to support them on our own servers, so we moved away from our previous servers (the good people at Rocler) and set up our own machines here in Montreal. This also allowed us to move into the realm of web application design. Shortly afterwards, in early 2003, Eric Hortop left the company as well (to follow his academic interests).
Today, the company consists of Stuart Thiel, accompanied by the occasional hired co-op student and a whole horde of contract programmers, web designers and graphics designers (even Eric can still be found doing the odd design).
